Addie Sullivan is a young lady who has grown up in almost complete isolation at Battery Point Lighthouse outside of Crescent City. One day, Walter Driscoll walks into her life and her world is turned upside down as everything she thought she knew turns out to be a lie. She accepts a governess position to a boy who is her actual nephew, entering the house in an unsuspicious way so that she can discover who she truly is. While searching for clues, she finds help in her blossoming relationship with the father of her student, along with danger as her faith in God falters and then grows stronger.
Colleen Coble has masterfully woven a suspense tale filled with romance together to create a story that pulled me in. This is the first book I have ever read of hers, and I am wondering why I have never heard of her before. This book is wonderful! It is filled with an innocent faith in God that was amazing to read and a relationship that was wonderful to watch unfold. I am definitely going to recommend this book and this author to others, and I look forward to expanding my library to include her other novels!

You are very welcome. My brother got me the first two books for your Rock Harbor Series for Christmas. It will be a couple of weeks before I can read them however, but I am looking forward to it.
